Reuben Crescent Bake
- 2 (8OZ.) cans crescent rolls
- 1 (8OZ.) pkg. thinly sliced pastrami or corned beef
- 1 (6oz.) pkg. swiss or mozarella cheese
- 1 (15 z) can sauerkraut
- 1/2 teaspoon caraway seed (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame seed (optional)
- heat oven to 400.
- separate 1 can of rolls into 4 rectangles.
- place in ungreased 12-inch pizza pan or 13x9 pan.
- press dough over bottom and 1/2 inch up sides to form crust.
- firmly press perforations to seal.
- arrange pastrami or corned beef, cheese and sauer kraut in layers over dough.
- sprinkle seeds if desired.
- separate 2nd can of rolls into 8 Triangles.
- arrange triangles in a spoke fashion over filling, with points toward center. do not seal outer edges of triangles to bottom crust.
- sprinkle with more seeds, if desired.
- bake at 400 for 15-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- serve immediately.
6-8 servings.
