Chicken Parisian
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 8 oz fresh mushrooms -- sliced
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup white wine -- dry
  • 2 teaspoons chicken bouillon
  • 1 teaspoon parsley -- dried
  • 1/4 teaspoon thyme leaves
  1. Combine flour, paprika and pepper in a plastic bag.
  2. Add chicken breasts a few pieces at a time & shake to coat.
  3. In a large skillet, brown the chicken in butter or shortening on both sides.
  4. Remove from pan.
  5. Add remaining ingredients to pan and simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  6. Add chicken and simmer, covered, for 20 minutes or until done.
