Hanging Carrot Plant

Perfect for a kitchen or bathroom window

You will need a saucer, knife, water, cotton, carrot, toothpick, string

Cut a two inch section from the end of the carrot, leaving any shoots untouched

Stand the cut carrot on end on top of the absorbent cotton on the saucer filled with water
Keep the cotton moist and place in sunlight

When the carrot has started sprouting, carefully scoop a hollow in the cut end making a receptacle for holding water

Again being careful to not damage the sprouts, poke holes through the top part and push a toothpick through
Tie string to both sides and hang in a sunny window
