Valentines Day
Cupid's Poop Put mini marshmallows in a small plastic bag. Tie with a red ribbon and add a tag with the following saying:
I couldn't send you flowers.
and candy wouldn't do.
And musty cards just didn't say
the things I want them to.
So I got you something,
and here's the inside scoop.
I found you something very rare
It's genuine cupid's poop!
Fast & Easy Desert for a Valentine Dinner
1 prepared Angelfood Cake
1 lg container of whipped topping

A few fresh strawberries and/or other berries for garnish
Split the cake into two or even 3 layers (I do 3)
Drain the strawberries reserving the juice
Mix 1 cup of the whipped topping and the drained strawberries together and spread on the layers putting the cake back together.
Mix the rest of the whipped topping with the juice being careful to not get too thin (just coloring a bit)
Frost the cake and garnish with the fresh fruit.
Prep time 5 to 10 minutes max (I've done it in 3)
Variations:
Use another frozen berry that is colorful
Add a garnish of a few sprigs of fresh mint
Delicious and fast,
Looks good too
ALMOND LACE COOKIES
Makes 30
These cookies can be left flat or rolled into cones or cylinders. They can
also be dipped in chocolate.
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 tablespoons heavy cream
1 tablespoon orange liqueur
3/4 cup whole unblanched almonds, ground medium fine
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
Melted chocolate for dipping
1. Heat oven to 375°. Line a baking sheet with parchment. In a small
saucepan over medium heat, combine butter, cream, and orange liqueur. When
butter has melted, stir in remaining ingredients with a wooden spoon. Cook
until gently bubbling, 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from heat, and keep warm.
2. Place 5 half teaspoons of batter 1 1/2 inches apart on prepared baking
sheet (this is as many as you can mold while hot). Bake until lightly
browned and crisp, 6 to 7 minutes.
3. Remove from oven, and let sit for 1 to 2 minutes. A. Working quickly, lay
each cookie over a cone-shaped object, (a water-cooler cup works nicely or make your own with a paper cup), pressing
edges together. B. Alternatively, roll cookies around the handle of a wooden
spoon, pressing the edges together to form a cylinder. Continue baking and
forming cookies until batter is used up. Place cookies on a wire rack to
cool. Dip one end into melted chocolate
