The Roseville Pottery Company, Inc., 1992-1954, of Roseville and Zanesville, Ohio. The pottery was started by George F. Young in the old J. B. Owens plant in Roseville January 4, 1892. Around 1898, a branch of Clark Stoneware Company, the Midland Pottery of Kildow, Williams and McCoy in Roseville, and in 1901 or 1902 a branch of the Mosaic Tile Company in Zanesville were purchased
A branch of Roseville was opened in Putnam. That plant was destroyed by fire in 1917. After 1917 all Roseville was made in Zanesville.
In 1899, a new three story building was constructed by Roseville in Zanesville.
Roseville made stoneware untill around 1900 when they began to make art pottery
